Chrysoprase is a variety of chalcedony, a member of the quartz crystal family. Its green intensity is determined by the amount of nickel it contains. Previously, the only source of this rare crystal was in southwestern Poland. It is now found in Russia, Brazil, Madagascar, Tanzania, South Africa, Australia and the United States. In the Iron Age, this stone was a decorative part of Silesian carvings and masonry. King Frederick II of Prussia used chrysoprase to decorate his palace's halls in Potsdam near Berlin.

This crystal will open the door of your heart to joy and unconditional love. It is one of the most potent and most effective minerals that heals emotional wounds and helps withstand storms of depression and anxiety. In the most challenging moments of life, keep it at the heart chakra. You will soon feel inner peace, a desire to celebrate life, and confidence in a higher power.

There will be no more room for ego, anger and resentment. When your heart is full of love, it will be much easier to accept others and forgive them for their mistakes, even if they hurt you. Inner freedom from negative emotions will become far more important than all principles.

The crystal is believed to help overcome bursting negative emotions. It will stop you from emotionally speaking, during which only anger usually speaks. Stored under a pillow, it will soothe thoughts and ensure normal sleep. Also, the stone provides balance and awareness, insight, unleashes creativity and talent.

Chrysoprase balances hormones and treats fertility problems. It helps people with disorders of the lungs and thyroid gland. Moreover, the stone calms the digestive system and stimulates wound healing. It also helps those with skin conditions and heart problems and increases the absorption of vitamin C.
