Celestite 700-750g

Celestite’s Gentle Blue Landscape

Celestite gathers pale blue and blue-grey into an irregular, broadly rounded cluster, its many angular projections catching bright reflections. Some areas appear translucent, while darker spaces between the projections give the surface a sense of depth. Rather than a single smooth curve, this piece offers a lively contrast: glossy, smooth-looking faces framed by a rough, grainy border of off-white and grey.

The pale colours suggest a small imagined sky broken into facets, with light resting on the faces and shadow tucked between them. There is a gentle rhythm in the meeting of those crisp angles and the uneven outer edge. A small orange-brown patch interrupts the cool palette—like a warm sliver of land beneath that blue sky.
