Crystal Geode pair – XXL 20-25cm open

A Pair of Islands in Light

This pair of open crystal geodes brings a bright, pale presence. In the pictured geode, white and pale grey give a soft first impression, while the open centre reveals a much sharper world. Angular crystal clusters crowd the cavity, their varied sizes creating a richly uneven surface. Some faces look almost translucent; bright reflections pick them out against the darker interior. Around them, a narrow beige-brown edge adds a rough, earthy border.

In an imagined landscape, those glints might become little islands of light, rising from a shaded sea. The geode’s broadly rounded outline gives that scene an irregular shoreline, with an uneven upper edge lifting above the open centre. There is something especially lovely in the contrast: a rugged boundary holding so many small, sharply defined planes of brightness.
