Fire Calcite in Peach and Ember

Fire calcite brings peach-orange and reddish-brown into a rugged, block-like shape. Scattered whitish and greyish patches break up the warmer colours, while numerous small, bright reflections dot the front. Recessed areas are more shaded, creating a contrast that invites a closer look at the densely textured surface.

There is plenty for the eye to follow: small angular faces, stepped ridges and ledges projecting from uneven sides. A sloping top gives this upright chunk its distinctive, irregular outline. You might imagine a miniature landscape within these forms, with peach-coloured terraces above shadowed paths.
