Malachite’s Winding World of Green
Lighter and darker greens wind through this malachite in curved bands and concentric rings, interrupted by very dark patches. Pale highlights catch on several rounded surfaces. In the elongated form, smooth-looking, glossy areas sit alongside uneven, matte-looking patches—a contrast that gives the eye as much to explore as the green pattern itself.
The longer form has rounded ends, while the shorter pieces have more irregular outlines. Together, their patterns suggest an imagined meadow seen from above: green paths looping and turning, with darker stretches between them. There is something inviting about following those curves without needing them to lead anywhere. A broad sweep becomes a tighter circle, drawing attention back to the malachite’s concentric green rings.
Do not inhale dust from raw Malachite and do not use it for crystal elixirs or drinking water infusions.
