Obsidian Mirror: Darkness Framed by Light
Black and charcoal-grey give the Obsidian Mirror a rich, restrained palette. Its round outline and broad, smooth face feel wonderfully simple, while the visible thickness adds definition to the shape. Bright white reflections along portions of the glossy edges interrupt the darkness with light.
Its circular face could become a dark pool in an imagined terraced garden, with leaves and pathways fading into evening shadow. The scene gathers around one crisp detail: a slender white glimmer following the pool’s curved boundary.
